The Chinese side, FPX, get their first international win against FUT Esports after winning their opening game of Masters Shanghai with their home soil advantage showing in their performance.

The game brought so many different attributes to the international stage including the debut of Clove, a triple controller comp on icebox and a solo yoru comp for Sunset.

It has been a long time waiting for FPX to get a win on the international stage, however, the Chinese player ‘Life’ took over dropping 48/33 in KD and topping the lobby for his incredible performance on the Yoru, Raze and Clove.

This result comes as an upset to fans from EMEA however, with the game being held on FPX’s homeground, they were the definable hometown favourites with the fans from across China selling out tickets just to see FPX perform.

It is only guaranteed to have a packed out loud crowd for when Edward Gaming step up to the stage and ZmjjKK can perform to the highest of his abilities and hopefully bring China home their first international trophy.

They managed an incredible comeback on Icebox after the game being tied 1-1, the final map would decide it all.

FPX went dow 8-4 at the half and despite losing both pistol rounds, they still managed to take the game 13-10 after a great attack half from Life after being near enough useless on defence after his aggressive style was read and punished easily by FUT.

FUT had some great moments and especially from cNed with his Jett AWP-ing still prolific ever since his Champions win with Acend in 2021. However, despite these moments, they werent enough to carry FUT over the edge and ended up giving the game win to FPX.

FUT now go down to the 0-1 batch and join T1, who lost to G2 earlier today, and FPX with their first international win ever, will go into the 1-0 group.
