Team Heretics earn their spot in the Grand Final of Masters Shanghai after embarrassing G2 3-0 in the Lower Final of this Masters.

Even with a substitute, Team Heretics have brought their in-region form onto the international stage with Wo0t taking over the duelist role and putting up MVP level numbers on a role he does not play.

Team Heretics only allowed G2 to have 16 rounds across the three maps after starting Bind off 13-2 with Wo0t taking over that map and going 20-6.

Their substitute, paTiTek, has been used a lot this year with stepping in for the beginning of the year since Wo0t was only 17 at the time, and then for MiniBoo whilst he sits out this Masters event due to Mental Health issues/ exams in Lithuania.

It is expected that despite the result in the Grand Final against Gen G, paTiTek will remain as a free agent and will be looking for a team to sign for which is something many teams should be looking at and keeping an eye on his team status, if Heretics decide to turn him away.

G2 now go back to VCT Americas looking towards Champions Seoul with many teams in that region looking for a spot at Champions.

G2 made it to Masters Shanghai after taking down Leviatan, KRU and Cloud9 in the play-offs of Stage 1. They didnt get to play against big teams that seemed to crumble including, Sentinels ( Masters Madrid Winners), NRG (5 Champions 1 roster) and LOUD (World Champions) who will all be looking to make it to Champions in August this year.
