Team Heretics advance into the Grand Finals of VCT Champions after slamming Leviatan out of the tournament in 3-1 style.

This win means that there will no longer be a chance of having a 2x Champions winner with aspas and C0M coming out of the tournament in 3rd place.

The previous encounter between these two teams occurred during the upper semifinals, culminating in a 2-0 victory for Leviátan. The competition on both maps was competitive, with only a five-round difference separating them.

RieNs took the MVP for his performance against the LATAM side with 68 kills across the four maps following closely by MiniBoo.

A surprise for fans was that aspas went -7 in this series which hasn’t happened a lot in his 2 year VALORANT career with the idea around aspas being that he is the GOAT of the game with his Duelist picking apart many teams.

Leviátan concluded their Champions campaign in third place and will wrap up their 2024 VCT season with the achievement of lifting the Americas Stage 2 trophy.

Following their victory over Leviátan, Team Heretics is set to face EDward Gaming in the grand final. The two teams previously competed in the playoffs of Masters Shanghai, where the European team secured a 2-0 win.

This will mark Team Heretics’ third grand final appearance this year, following their participation in Shanghai and the EMEA Stage 1. The best-of-five grand final is set to crown a new Champion across the VCT world.
