After a shocking season for NRG, they have now announced the departure of Crashies, after releasing his long time duo, Victor, only a month beforehand.

It has been a roller coaster for this NRG roster after starting off the season with a so-called ‘super team’ they under performed heavily despite having 5 world champions on the roster and having the best player of 2023, Demon1, in their team.

However, it was quickly realised that this roster didn’t work and they made changes. Marved and Demon1 took to the bench of the team and they brought back FNS and s0m but it still wasn’t enough for them to even make play-offs.

They ended the season without attending 1 international event despite starting with a super roster expected to win it all.

A lot of news is going on during ‘rostermania’ with Americas teams having the most eyes on them with most of the teams expected to make changes and NRG are guaranteed to make changes to their roster which they now have 1 space free.

The space that opens up is for an initiator player, with many promising talents in the tier 2 of NA coming onto the radar for many coaches across the Americas VCT.

There are also rumours that Demon1 could be gone from the roster under new management. If Demon1 comes onto the radar, it could cause rifts in the VCT with a talent like that being a free agent.

Recently, FNATIC allowed Derke to explore opportunities which was a surprise to many fans since Derke has been a top duelist for years now for this FNATIC core.

If rumours are true, there will be 3 World Champion duelists on offer for teams to grab up.

yay

Demon1

Derke

It would be surprising if any of these superstars aren’t picked up for the 2025 VCT season starting in January next year.
