The first match of VCT EMEA has concluded with a shock result for fans of BBL taking home the W against a highly anticipated side, GIANTX.
Coming into this match, BBL were without their chosen 5th, chiwa who was signed to play the Sentinel role for the squad, however, with VISA issues stopping him from being able to play for BBL, vakk stepped into the role for the team.
It isnt like vakk is a nobody, he has been playing the game for 4 years and has been in organisations such as ACEND and Team Vitality during his time in VALORANT.

He hasn’t come into the team and dominated but he has done his role to such a high standard that the team could still run their defaults and strats without feeling like telling vakk how to play the game.
GiantX were highly rated coming into this season making changes bringing in players from across many different VCT teams in EMEA whilst keeping star IGL Cloud and Duelist purp0.
PlatChat, a podcast between many different VCT casters/ viewers/ ex-coaches, deemed it a clean up for GiantX especially with the circumstances of losing chiwa.
They were proven wrong and GiantX eventually ended up disappointing their hype with their range of players that have a good amount of VCT experience.
GiantX have now been sent down to the lower bracket to face off against either Karmine Corp or NaVi where they will have to make it past a group of tough teams, odds are stacked against them after this loss.
BBL now go on to face off against FNATIC where they should feel more pressure against 2x Masters winners Chronicle, Boaster and Alfajer with the addition of crashies and kaajak.
