One of the most anticipated debuts in VCT didn’t have a fairy tale ending with florescent having a good game but still dropping down 2-0 and down into the lower bracket.

After dominating Game Changers, florescent becomes the first player to go from Game Changers straight to Tier 1 VALORANT, with many fans wondering if her skills could transfer over to VCT standard.

It is safe to say that florescent is definable VCT material after a great series where she dropped 39 kills across the two maps with her teammates being the ones left behind and looking poor considering they are VCT seasoned players.

APEKS did come into this series with VISA troubles and their 5th player batujanx not being able to join the team forcing them to play their assistant coach, Oderus as he fills the initiator role which could have led to such a poor performance from their squad.

The more concerning thing about APEKS however is that their assistant coach, who was forced to step in after issues, was their second best performing player alongside the VCT Ascension winning side.

Gentle M8 came into this game with many changes to their roster going from a full French roster to only having one French player surrounding him with discovered and undiscovered talent.

They only kept K4DAVRA and surrounded him with VCL EMEA Click, NAVI Zyppan, Joblife RobbieBk and Minny from GoNext Esports.

They comfortably took the W against a wounded APEKS however florescent showed sings that she belongs in tier one with a solid 1v3 getting as many rounds as possible for APEKS.

With this win, Gentle M8’s made it to the upper quarter finals against the second best team of 2024, Team Heretics who have made no changes at all to their roster.

Whilst APEKS drop down to the lower bracket to face off against either Team Liquid or FUT Esports which either team would give them a hard game and fans are hoping that florescent can go huge and bring home the W for the fans of APEKS and the fans of florescent herself.
