The French giants Karmine Corp have kicked off their VCT 2025 year with a close game against NaVi.
Led by saadhak, the brand new roster of KC managed to pull through and take the win against a tough NaVi side who have also made three changes since the end of last season.
Karmine Corp brought in three Sentinel players from across VCT in SUYGETSU, Elite and Avez who have picked up new roles with Elite the only player to stick to the Sentinel role picking up Vyse for all three maps against NaVi.
NaVi lined up with three changes removing ardiis, SUYGETSU and Zyppan and replacing them with VCL player Ruxic, M80 Duelist koalanoob and FNATIC hiro.
Whilst keeping a hold of VCT Masters winning IGL ANGE1 and Shao, they rebuilt their roster to try and compete and regain their masters winning form for the kick-off leading into Masters Bangkok.
Despite taking the first map 13-10, NaVi then crumbled in the following maps and only managed 8 rounds combined losing Bind 13-2 and Lotus 13-6 showing saadhak’s calling to be superior to ANGE1’s.
Despite signing Koalanoob after a very close battle for Ascension in Americas, ANGE1 decided to play a no duelist comp on Lotus with Koalanoob picking up the sage and trying a more passive playstyle.
However, this led to their downfall as their defence side was solid with their attack side being very poor against a more standard comp on Karmine Corp’s side.
