Since the start of VALORANT, two teams in North America have been rivalling each other and once again they have met in a crucial knock-out game.

As history shows aswell, Sentinels once again come out on top and go one step closer to Masters Bangkok.

With 100T coming off the back of an impressive win over MIBR earlier in the week, they face off against a newly changed Sentinels after two majors changes caused by retirement last year.

Sentinels line up without TenZ and Sacy, both two time international winners. Losing them meant losing alot of experience and talent, however, they replaced them with raw aim and firepower in the place of N4RRATE and bang, who both had solid seasons on 100T and Karmine Corp last year.

After leaving 100T to join rivals Sentinels this was bang’s first game against his former team and as shown in the tweet above, he chose right with a 2-1 win over them.

Despite not having the best series, his role as controller was as solid as he is known for and his new IGL, johnqt, took the top spot in the fragging department for Sentinels with zekken taking up a new agent in Yoru instead of his usual Jett/Raze/Neon.

Johnqt also chose Tejo as his insta agent this series with a stunning performance whilst also commanding his team to the win giving them a confidence boost after a poor off-season.

This win sends Sentinels into the upper semi-finals of VCT Kick-Off and will face off against LOUD and their former player, pANcada. However, 100Thieves will now go down to lowers and will face off against the formidable NRG which will see one of these powerhouse teams sent home with a double loss.

100T IGL, Boostio, also tweeted before the NRG/C9 match that NRG will lose out in VCT, and now the power is in his teams hands to make that tweet a reality and send one of the beasts of NA home early.
