This new iteration of DRX kicks off their new VCT season with a confident 2-1 victory over Nongshim RedForce, the recently promoted side.
free1ng picked up the Tejo for all three maps and showed that in the right hands, Tejo can be very strong and fight against anyone at this stage of his release as he is relatively new to all teams across VCT.
Nongshim put up a great fight against DRX with a 13-11 Lotus, taking Pearl 13-6 but inevitable losing Fracture 13-9 in a close fought battle between a long standing veteran team and a new team on the block.

free1ing on the Tejo matched HYUNMIN on the Duelist role for kills, showing that the two new players for DRX are both fragging specialists looking towards Masters Bangkok.
After removing BuZz, fans of the Korean side were confused as BuZz has consistently been one of the best players in APAC since the start of franchising 3 years ago.

Today's my performance wasn't very good, but I was able to win because of my team. Fighting for the next game!!@Persia0_0b 그만 잘해라 .
After this win, DRX lock in a path into the Upper bracket semi-finals and will face off against the winner of Gen G and Rex Regum Qeon to confirm a spot in the Upper Finals making one step closing to Masters Bangkok.
However, with this loss, Nongshim RedForce are heading down to the Lower bracket to face off against BOOM Esports where the two teams from last years Ascension will face off once again.
