A new Leviatan has started their VCT 2025 season as they ended their Americas run last year, with a win.
After the removal of aspas, they were looking for a like for like replacement for him. But who better to get than Demon1, the Champions 2022 Winner and MVP.
After the signing of Demon1 and nataNk in replacement of aspas and Mazino, this game is the debut game for their full roster with rumours of roles being up in the air for this new roster.
Fans were speculating a Demon1 Controller and tex Duelist however, it ended up with Demon1 on the Jett and the Raze and tex sticking to the Sentinel role that he was so confident on last year.
Despite being the Champions 2023 MVP, his 2024 season was very poor and has something to prove this year with a vengeance, starting off the year with a confident 2-0 win over FURIA.
Despite winning the game, Demon1 didnt have the most influential performance that he is capable of, ending the series with a 22/26/5 KDA.
Whilst reuniting with C0M from his old Evil Geniuses roster, the roles seemed to have switched with C0M putting up a monster performance whilst Demon1 was at the bottom of the leader board.
This win sends Leviatan further in the upper bracket and one step closer to a spot in Masters Bangkok whilst FURIA are dropped down to the lower bracket to face off against Evil Geniuses after their loss to LOUD earlier this week.
