Edward Gaming, after dropping down to the Lower Brackets, have made their place in the Lower Bracket final solidified, one game away from Masters Bangkok.
After winning Champions 2024, they took a well deserved break from VALORANT to focus on themselves and came back to VCT with a fresh mindset and the exact same roster.
They came into this game after losing 0-2 to Trace Esports which shocked fans across the world. They were then set to face off against Xi Lai Gaming, who had made a good run knocking out tournament favourites FunPlus Pheonix.
They took the first map off of Edward Gaming in a tough 14-12 overtime scramble, where Rarga topped the leader board with 27 kills which pushed EDG to the edge and ended up losing the map.
The second map, Bind, went the way of Edward Gaming however, it went to 23 rounds with Xi Lai Gaming once again pushing EDG to the limits forcing Zmjjkk to drop 29 kills on the Raze to carry his team over the edge.
With these two maps being so close, fans were excited to see what Xi Lai Gaming were cooking up for Haven.
However, fans were extremely surprised to see the scoreline 13-0 at the end of the map.

They dominated Xi Lai Gaming to the point of not even a single round was put down, knocking them out of Kick-Off in such a brutal way.
This win, however, sends EDG into the Lower bracket final against Dragon Ranger Gaming after taking out Fun Plus Pheonix in the semi-final. This matchup will decide who can battle it out for the chance to go to Masters Bangkok.
