After winning Masters Shanghai and bringing home the first international trophy in APAC history, they have failed to qualify for the first Masters of 2025.

T1 were touted at one of the best teams in the world coming into this season after making big signings of GenG Meteor, DRX BuZz and TOP Sylvan. They have lived up to their stature making the first international event over some huge teams in APAC including Paper Rex, GenG and Rex Regum Qeon.

T1 made it to one international event last year, being Masters Shanghai, and went bombing out of that tournament without winning one game and losing back to back to G2 Esports and LEVIATAN.

This five map banger ended up going the way of T1 despite the leaderboard showing t3xture taking the top spot with 96 frags and Karon following up with 88.

Unfortunatley, this wasnt enough and T1 took the final map 13-10 and clinched the series at its final point.

A disappointing series from BuZz meant that his team mates had to come together and pull through to make it to Masters Bangkok and the long term T1 player, iZu, made that happen topping the scoreboard for the korean side.

There was also a shock before the match where fans were told that carpe would be stepping in for Sylvan which surprised many fans as they believed that carpe would just be a 6th man used for emergencies however, it is believed that he subbed in for this series due to a sickness.

Despite the heroics of t3xture, GenG will now have to wait until stage 1 begins to fight on the APAC stage once again meaning that they will be watching Masters Bangkok from the sidelines after such an impressive year last year.

With this win, T1 will rematch against DRX in the Grand Final of VCT APAC Kick-Off where they will fight for the number 1 seed of APAC.

Nevertheless, they have made it to Bangkok as the final team to join the rest of VCT who have qualified earlier this month.
