G2 are back on winning terms with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Team Liquid eliminating the last team from the Swiss Stage after Team Liquid eliminated Sentinels earlier this tournament.
With the only Filipino player at Masters Bangkok being Keiko, Team Liquid had a lot of home support from the fans in Thailand. Despite having a great start to his year on the new role, this game wasn’t flowing as it usually does for him and he ended the series with near to no impact on the final scoreline.

This series wasn’t dominated by anybody. In fact the scoreboard was topped by the losing sides IGL, nAts. Despite this, Team Liquid only managed 15 rounds across the two maps with G2 looking solid throughout the series and taking one step closer to their first international trophy.
nAts seems to have found a new lease of life on this roster having consistently good performances throughout his Masters Bangkok journey, after two years away from the international stage.
nAts was also the only player in this series to have won a Masters trophy before, with Gambit back in 2021.

This win confirms G2 as the final team to join the top four of Masters Bangkok. They join the following in a bracket format for the title of Masters of Bangkok:
- Team Vitality
- Edward Gaming
- DRX
With this loss, Team Liquid are the final squad to be eliminated from Masters Bangkok in this Swiss Stage format. They now have around a month to recover and focus on Stage 1 and hopefully returning to the international stage where they can hopefully make a deeper run in.
