The World Champions of 2024, Edward Gaming, have finally fallen at Masters Bangkok in 3rd place dropping the Lower Finals Series 3-1.

T1 were heavily underrated coming into this season with familiar faces, PlatChat, putting them as the worse team at the tournament.

That narrative has been proven to be a false narrative and been completely flipped to T1 guaranteeing themselves a top 2 finish at the first international of the year.

BuZz has taken the frontline this tournament with astonishing KDA scorelines every series whilst being backed up by iZu and Meteor whilst they made this incredible run into the Grand Final.

He did it again in this series Duelist diffing the MVP of Champions 2024, ZmjjKK, dropping 78 compared to the Chinese’s 69 drags.

Being one of the only rosters to not make a change during the off-season, Edward Gaming were looking very good coming into the new season knowing that they were still a top side.

With this loss, they go out of Masters Bangkok in 3rd place proving to the entire VCT that they are still a team that is worth mentioning when talking the best teams in the world.

T1 will now go on to face off against G2 for the title, naming yet another new organisation to win a Masters trophy, with Sentinels being the only two-time winner of the tournament in 2021 and 2024.
