After being listed as one of the worse teams coming into Masters Bangkok, they defied all odds making it past World Champions, Super Teams and now beating the overall favourites, G2, to lift their first VALORANT title as an organisation.
The year started off very strong for T1, lifting the RedBull Homeground title after defeating NA side Cloud9 in the final 3-1. They then went into Kick-Off in a sort of rolling fashion taking down any team that stood in their way.
They made it to Masters Bangkok alongside DRX, the only team they lost to in Pacific, and were put up against Team Vitality straight away, where they lost 2-0 and T1’s fans hopes were up in flames.
Despite this setback, T1 bounced back taking down Trace Esports, DRX, Team Vitality, Edward Gaming and eventually G2, being named the well deserved winners of Masters Bangkok, bringing home the second international trophy for the Pacific League in VALORANT.

Despite being on the losing side, jawgemo topped the leaderboard with 103 kills across the three maps showing fans that he was there to win and that his Championship winning years are still within reach, despite losing this one, he was the standout performer during the series.
The scoreboard also reflected something that fans picked up on. They realised that this was the first grand final in VCT Franchising history where the winning side had 0 players going positive on KD across the series.

After coming out of Pacific as the 2nd seed, they defeated all of the number 1 seeds from across all regions to land themselves as the best team in the world.
The only team that T1 didn’t beat were Sentinels and Team Liquid as they both went out of the tournament before they could even face T1.
This win now sets T1 as the best team in the world with G2 falling short at the last step. T1 will now look forward to the start of Stage 1 where they will have a target on their head in their region.
