After being dropped from NRG for Brawk, fans thought that Verno would return to Tier 2 after a performance that wasn’t up to the standard we saw last year of him.

Despite finishing 3rd in VCT Americas Kick-Off, MIBR thought that it was the right time to pick up the 18 year old to their VALORANT roster in place of nzr who had a rough time in kick-off despite their placement.

Fans of NRG were disappointed to see their team crumble in Kick-Off after such a strong off-season where they took home the SOOP Valorant League title over teams like GenG, Sentinels and DRX.

The reason for this came down to internal issues within the side according to FNS in their latest NRG Podcast where they sat down and spoke about their recent losses and the reason for their poor form across VCT Americas compared to the other sides.

With Verno being dropped so did Bonkar, who fans are speculating, stuck up for Verno as he was his coach last year in Tier 2.

Despite Verno reportedly being picked up, it seems that Bonkar is still ‘warming the bench’ for NRG as fans are saying due to this departure from the starting roster.

MIBR who were, at the start of this season, a Portugese speaking team, have now signed Verno, who is an English speaking American Valorant player which has led fans to believe they are changing the language that they will be comming in to English.

However, due to reports, it seems that all the players can speak somewhat some English as Aspas, Cortezia and artzin can speak fluent English.

With Verno reportedly joining the Brazilian organisation, the full MIBR roster now looks like:

aspas (Duelist)

Xenom (Controller)

Cortezia (Sentinel)

artzin (Flex)

Verno (Initiator)
