After becoming champions in Kick-Off, DRX carry on their regional reign with a win over Paper Rex, which historically is hard to come by in the two teams rivalry.
The difference this year, is that Paper Rex are trying to conform to more standardised compositions with a solo Duelist and double initiator with something going to full time Initiator opting for the Breach and the Sova this series.
Fans were questioning this decision as something is a natural Duelist player and he didn’t value his utility in this series, running into fights blind and not using a flash, recon, or shock dart as often as he should.

After impressing VCT APAC watchers, HYUNMIN retains his strong fragging to this series dropping 61 kills in the three maps relying on the Jett and Raze, more traditional agents whilst Flashback, their Sentinel player, picked up the Neon and the Yoru throughout the series.
f0rsakeN for Paper Rex, picked up the solo Duelist, however, after years of flex, he didn’t look as comfortable whilst going 8/18 in First Kills/First Deaths. Whereas, HYUNMIN on the winning side, went 15/5 in First Kills/ First Deaths showing the natural Duelist role is more about the entry kills you can gain as a solo Duelist.

After this win, DRX will try to continue their win streak against Detonation FocusMe with DFM coming off of the back of an 0-2 loss to Global Esports, despite looking in good form in Kick-Off.
Paper Rex will try to regain their form that got them to Champions 2nd place and Masters 2nd Place, against GenG, who have made some questionable changes in the off-season removing Yoman and Foxy9 from their roster for Suggest and Ash.
