The longest rivalry in VALORANT, Sentinels vs 100 Thieves went the way of Sentinels yet again with a 2-1 series going easily into the hands of the 2 time Masters winning organisation.

Sentinels had a rough time in Masters Bangkok, going 0-2 in their series against Team Liquid and DRX. However, they have come back to Americas, after leaving as the 2nd seed, they returned to beat 100 Thieves convincingly.

Zellsis, after coming under some pressure at the start of the season due to the signing of 17 year old Reduxx, grabbed the top spot of this series dropping 45 kills across the three maps.

They shocked VCT fans with this series, after destroying 100 Thieves 13-5 on the first map, Pearl, they dropped Haven, with 100T’s comp was far superior especially with Cryo on the Iso. They then bounced back incredibly, decimating 100T 13-1 on Split, making them look like a team that is easily brushed aside.

Zekken performed on the permanent Yoru, whilst other teams are leaning into more traditional duelists, such as Jett, Raze and some teams even looking into incorporating Waylay into their comps, SEN have decided to keep Zekken on the Japanese duelist in the mean time.

After this win, Sentinels will go on to face off against KRU, who are coming off of the back of a strong series against LOUD, however they weren’t as strong as Sentinels looked in this series so fans are leaning towards the red side for this matchup.

100T will look to even up their record against Evil Geniuses who defeated 2GE in comfortable fashion with yay stepping up and showing glimpses of what he can do on the server.
