After becoming the second team to be promoted from last years Pacific Ascension, BOOM are now sitting 2-0 in groups looking like they are nailed on for a Play-Offs spot for Stage 1.
Despite completely renovating their roster from 2024, Global E-Sports still seem to be struggling for strong performances even with a roster consisting of Kr1stal and UdoTan, who impressed VCT fans for their performances across VCT in 2024.
This series was no different with BOOM blowing Global E-Sports out the water in Lotus with a 13-1 scoreline in a completely dominating display, and then on Haven, they managed to gather 11 rounds but it just wasn’t enough on the day against BOOM, who were just on fire all day.

BerserX topped the leaderboard for BOOM with 37 frags across the two maps on the Viper and the Cypher. He has been a main stay in BOOM’s organisation dating back to October 2021.
On the losing side, UdoTan topped their leader board with 35 frags across the two maps on Cypher and Iso, especially impressive on the Iso where he dropped 28 kills which ultimately didn’t lead to much as they lost the series emphatically 2-0.
Their new Duelist player, patrickWHO, who they signed for Stage 1 of Pacific Stage 1, had a rough series going 14/34 in KD and only managing 3 first kills and having a shocking 10 first deaths, whilst his opponents Duelist went 10/4 in First kills to First death ratio.

BOOM have gone from the worst team in Pacific, being double rounded in Kick-Off, to now being on a two game run and looking like the favourites to be the first team to qualify for Play-Offs in Stage 1.
They will need to beat Paper Rex next week to qualify for Play-offs with Paper Rex still fighting to regain the form that made them the kings of APAC, especially since their current season is going very badly.
Global E-Sports will look towards DRX next week, who were crowned champions of Kick-Off and are still keeping that form into Stage 1. It will be a tough fight for GE to get their second win of Stage 1.
