As usual, fans across VCT continue to doubt Cloud9 as a serious organisation, despite beating some huge sides, they defy the odds once again beating Leviatan 2-0 in super strong fashion.

Leviatan have made a strange decision which is putting the World Champion MVP duelist Demon1, onto the permanent Controller role which completely stumps his raw firepower, with their previous IGL, kiNgg, going to the duelist on Yoru in the past 2 matches.

Demon1 has picked up Omen during this series whilst, during his prime, his main controller agents were Astra and Brimstone, which were seen as considerably better than his Omen is looking as his lower sensitivity and calm aim is more suited for those agents rather than the Omen and Yoru that are completely in the meta now.

v1c from Cloud9 took the series MVP with a super impressive 38/19 KD, however, what is more impressive is that he registered 26 assists alongside that. His most impressive performance of his VCT career came on the Ascent however, with a ridiculous KDA of 20/4/20.

Something that caught fans eyes were the fact that Demon1 on the Omen had the same amount of First Kills as their primary duelist, kiNgg, showing that he still has that duelist mentality but for some reason has been moved to the Controller role.

Unfortunately for Leviatan, they are now 0-2 in groups putting them at the bottom of the group with a shocking -26 round count, whilst Cloud9 make their way to the top of their group with a +26 round count ending this week ahead of G2 who have the same record but just 6 rounds less in round differential.

Despite being signed as the IGL for the team, Rossy put out a tweet shortly after the game concluded, shifting the blame to the IGL as he was off of that role against Cloud9 for whatever reason, shown as a somewhat scared reason since he wouldn’t put this tweet out if he felt like it was a team loss rather than certain individuals.

This could show signs of internal problems, however, people can also argue that fans are looking too deeply into this after only reaching 11 rounds in total across the two maps played against Cloud9.

Cloud9 will now go on to face off against MIBR, which could be seen as a tough game for the NA side, despite impressive wins over NRG and Leviatan, MIBR look strong this year with the addition of aspas and Verno.

Leviatan will look to improve their Stage 1, with their game against FURIA, who are performing just as bad at LEV are this year both sitting at 0-2 in Stage 1, despite both making changes that looked positive at the start of the year.
