After losing 2-0 to KRU in emphatic style last week, they returned to VCT with a strong win over EG only allowing the World Championship winning organisation only 10 rounds in total.
After losing jawgemo to G2 at the end of last years VCT season, Evil Geniuses made two changes to their lineup adding yay and icy and removing jawgemo and Apoth from their roster.
Ever since their glory days in 2023 with their roster that has now been fully taken apart to other organisations, Evil Geniuses has become a completely new team with only one world champion on their roster in yay who is a shell of his former self.

N4RRATE showed the reason why he was signed to Sentinels in this series with a 39/19/17 KDA across only 36 rounds of VALORANT which somewhat brings his form back to his Karmine Corp days which made Sentinels pick him up for his fragging potential on any agents.
He previously played Duelist for MAD Lions and then the Flex role for Karmine Corp. It seems that his new role for Sentinels is now Initiator/ secondary Duelist where he shines whilst Zellsis has moved to the Sentinel role.
On the losing side, no one shined particularly for EG, as they couldnt gather together more than 10 rounds in total, showing utter domination from Sentinels after their poor performance against KRU last week.

Sentinels take this win and look towards LOUD, who are currently sitting 0-2 in their games for Stage 1, despite looking strong in Kick-Off and making it deep in the tournament.
Whilst EG will hope to improve their 1-2 record in Group Alpha against KRU who are 2-0 currently and fans are expecting a 3-0 record before they face off against EG, as they are looking like the strongest team in Group Alpha.
