After a 0-3 start to Stage 1, Paper Rex climb back and earn their spot in Play-Offs with back to back wins over DFM and now Global Esports confirming their spot as the bottom seed of Group Alpha.
Despite being the bottom seed of Group Alpha, they actually had a better map and round count than TALON who finished second in Group Omega. This could lead to an impressive run from the lower bracket for Paper Rex, where they are looking to return to the International stage for the Singaporean side.

d4v41 took the top spot in this series with 43 frags across the two maps whilst Jinggg returned to his old role of Raze, and dropped 42 kills showing that he is still important to this roster despite fans calling for him to be dropped for Mindfreak whilst he sits on the bench.
Despite having a monster series against DFM, something had a particularly poor series against Global Esports with 14 kills in two maps which pales in comparison to his 62 kills against DFM.
PatrickWHO, who was picked up as Global Esports main duelist, took to the bench for this series and Deryeon picked up the solo Duelist role dropping 30 kills, which just wasn’t enough for the Indian organisation to win this series.

something’s poor series didn’t mean much as the OG trio took over on Lotus with all three getting over 20 kills each, returning back to their international form that got them to the kings of APAC.
With this win, Paper Rex will go into Stage 1 Play-Offs against the loser of DRX vs T1, where if they lose their Stage 1 chances are over and they will have to look towards Stage 2 and Champions Paris.
Global Esports will now have to wait until Stage 2 either way with a very poor performance in Stage 1 and Kick-Off, they have pressure behind them as the only Indian organisation in VCT Pacific, with 0 Indian players this year promising results, that have not been received yet.
