FNATIC’s IGL Boasters is the only player in VCT History to have made Play-Offs at every Champions event. He lived up to that in this series against MIBR.
MIBR got into Champs through a miracle with their Champs points being just enough to best the rest of the region after their shocking 2nd half to the season. They started the year off going to Masters Toronto, finishing 3rd in their Kick-Off. However, after that they seemed to fall off of a cliff and dragged their way through to Champions Paris.
However, FNATIC on the other hand have been stable throughout the year confirming their spot at Champions through points early in Stage 2, which could be the reason why they bombed out of play-offs.

Despite the loss, aspas topped the leaderboard going +11 with 54 frags across the three maps, whilst on the winning side, kaajak and Alfajer shared the top spot with 47 kills.
Boaster had a particularly rough time on Bind where he only managed 4 kills in the series on the Astra, where it seemed it wasn’t his day, getting timing’ed and swung by everyone just being out-aimed in the series.
As usual, the backlash from fans online were there despite the series win. However, this time Boaster fought back against the online trolls and once again reiterated that he is the IGL and just has to control the 4 ‘best players in the world’.
After this win, FNATIC have secured their spot in Play-Offs alongside Paper Rex, NRG and Team Heretics. They have managed to regain their form that took them to the EWC final against Team Heretics where they fell just short.
MIBR will fight for their spot at Play-Offs against the winner of RRQ and BiliBili Gaming, where they will decide the end to their VCT 2025 year.
