A Poetic finish for Demon1 at champions as G2, Americas most dominant side, end his run at Champions in a 2-0 whitewash.

Despite joining a Chinese speaking roster, and picking up a new role he has never played on stage, Demon1 showed fans and teams across VCT that he is not done competing and will not slow down on his return to the top.

Unfortunately, he had to face off against one of the favourites to win the entire Champions tournament, G2. Who, despite looking rough in their first series against Team Heretics, bounced back against DRG as they fought for survival.

jawgemo took the top spot of this series with 39 frags on the yoru only for the Lotus and Abyss game. He had some insane moments including a 1v4 pistol round clutch with a frenzy, a gun that is becoming more and more popular in the meta at the moment.

Demon1 put up 25 frags getting the highest rating on Dragon Ranger Gaming, however, his 2023 LA Champs form did not come back in this series even with the Team MVP for this tournament.

Demon1 had a rough time whilst his counterpart from the historic 2023 Evil Geniuses roster, jawgemo, starred in this series. It seems that when it comes to a must-win international series, jawgemo always brings the dawg out.

Dragon Ranger Gaming will now be relegated to Acension with this loss as Xi Lai Gaming also made it to champs and recently beat Sentinels in their lower run in their group.

G2 will now look towards a magical rematch against T1 re-enacting their Bangkok Masters Grand Final series once again at Champions Paris.
