Team Vitality delivered one of the most one-sided results of the VCT EMEA Kickoff so far, crushing ULF Esports 2–0 in a series that barely gave their opponents room to breathe. Across two maps, ULF managed just four rounds total, as Vitality imposed complete control from start to finish.
From the opening rounds of the first map, Vitality set an unforgiving pace. Their defensive setups were airtight, shutting down ULF’s early ideas and forcing them into repeated saves. Every attempted adjustment from ULF was met with immediate punishment, as Vitality’s Chronicle and Derke’s crisp aim and flawless trading left little opportunity for comeback rounds. The map quickly slipped away, with Vitality closing it out in dominant fashion with a 13-3 scoreline.
If there were hopes of resistance on the second map, they were swiftly extinguished. Vitality looked even more comfortable, dictating the tempo on both sides of the game. Their attacking rounds were clinical and efficient, breaking ULF’s setups with minimal losses, while their defense gave away nothing for free. ULF struggled to convert even advantageous situations, with Vitality consistently flipping rounds through superior coordination.

The most striking aspect of the series was Vitality’s total control of the fundamentals. They rarely overextended, kept their economy healthy, and punished every mistake without hesitation, despite having a substitute player in UNFAKE. ULF, by contrast, were starved of momentum, spending much of the series on the back foot and unable to string together meaningful rounds which eventually led to their demise.
The emphatic 2–0 win cements Team Vitality as one of the early standouts of Kickoff. For ULF Esports, the result is a harsh introduction to the level of competition in EMEA — one that leaves little doubt about the gap Vitality opened in this lopsided encounter.
