With questions on whether or not primmie would even make it into VCT for 2026, he made sure to be a player that will always be on the radar for players, with an incredible 79 frags, putting him in the top 4 kills ever in a BO3 series in Franchising.
Map one took centre stage on Breeze, where fans haven’t seen DRX’s Breeze with this roster since all of last year it was out of the map pool for the entirety of their current roster. However, for FULL SENSE, it seemed back to basics for them with primmie on the perma Yoru this year, the team are leaning heavily into the double Duelist meta.
DRX took the first half 8-4 with MaKo delivering now that he is off of the IGL role, he can focus on his shooting. And that is exactly what he did on Breeze dropping 26 total kills on the viper. However, it was primmie on the other side who was the only one seemingly shooting back dropping 31 kills on a map where they eventually lost it 13-10.
Map 2 took place on Pearl, where both teams leaned into the Double Duelist, however, FULL SENSE opted for the Raze, which is a very rare pick on Pearl with most teams opting for a Neon, Jett or even a Phoenix alongside the Yoru pick. However, this ended up paying off for the Thai side with a 13-8 map win to force a third map on Split.
Split had a similar story to Pearl, where FULL SENSE came out dominating the start of the map taking the first half 7-5 after a 6-1 lead at one point. However, DRX took back a few rounds and managed to bring the series to 8-9, but this is where FULL SENSE went into aim mode with primmie and Thyyy just taking duels across the map and winning out the map 13-8, taking down the team that ended Champions Paris in 3rd place.

primmie managed an incredible +41 on his KD for this series, marking a scary start for FULL SENSE in 2026, especially since last year he was flexing between sentinel and duelist, it seems this year he will be following in something’s footsteps and being their resident Yoru player.

With this win, FULL SENSE will face off against Nongshim RedForce after their upset win over T1 in the upper bracket. DRX will have to fight their way through the trenches of the middle bracket starting with a series against VARREL on the 30th of January.
