Cloud9 put together a confident and controlled performance, sweeping LEVIATÁN 2–0 in their VCT Americas matchup and showing clear progress in their cohesion as a unit against the final form of LEVIATAN now with neon.
From the opening rounds of the series, Cloud9 looked comfortable dictating the pace, taking early space and forcing LEVIATÁN into awkward, reactive positions. Their willingness to take risky aim duels, paired with clean trading, allowed them to build momentum quickly and establish control of the series.
The first map was defined by Cloud9’s strong fundamentals, particularly on defense, where their setups repeatedly denied LEVIATÁN clean entries. Attempts to find mid-round openings were often shut down by disciplined rotations from the OXY Chamber, leaving LEVIATÁN struggling to convert rounds even when they found initial picks. Cloud9 capitalised efficiently on their advantages, closing out the map 13-5 with little room for their opponents to recover.
LEVIATÁN showed slightly more resistance on the second map, finding periods of success and briefly threatening to swing the momentum back in their favour. However, Cloud9’s composure in high-pressure situations proved decisive with OXY looking back to his best on the Jett. They consistently won key opening duels and managed their economy well, ensuring they always had the AWP in OXY’s hands that was instrumental in their strong lead.

In the end, Cloud9’s consistency across both maps secured the 2–0 victory, reinforcing their position in the Americas bracket while LEVIATÁN were left to reflect on missed opportunities especially painful for this squad with the first LATAM Masters not having any LATAM sides there after KRU also went out early in the tournament.
