After the departure of Chronicle from the FNATIC roster at the end of 2025, he joined Team Vitality alongside another former FNATIC player, Derke. This series was the first time they played their former team, and it seems that the Boaster and Alfajer core was too strong for the newly revamped Team Vitality.
Map 1 went to Abyss with FNATIC continuing with a somewhat outdated composition of Jett/ KAY/0/ Sova/ Astra/ Vyse whilst Team Vitality were quite the opposite with their Double Duelist composition running a Yoru/ Waylay/ Astra/ Sova/ Veto.
It seemed that coming into the series, there was a clear difference in preparation for Abyss. From the FNATIC side, it was obvious that they knew the tendencies of Chronicle on the Veto on A-main where he like to angle himself which led to punishes and easy openings from defaults and aggression on the site hits.
This led to FNATIC taking a surprising 13-5 win on Abyss, especially after Vitality took a 13-0 victory over GIANTX recently, more was expected from the French Organisation.
Map 2 went to Bind, where FNATIC were finally able to unleash Alfajer onto the Raze, where he is continuously top fragging the server and taking over maps single handedly.
This time was no different, with Alfajer dropping 14 kills on both halves in this one sided affair. Vitality managed to take the first half to a tied map at 6-6. However, it was FNATIC’s defensive half where kaajak was able to join Alfajer in the fragging department and finish out the map at 13-8 and confirming their spot in the 2nd match for a spot at VCT Masters Santiago.

With this win, FNATIC advance into the Middle Round final where they will face off against the loser of BBL vs Gentle M8’s where they could be looking at a rematch against BBL or a revenge match for Veqaj against his former organisation.
Vitality will now move to the Lower bracket, meaning they are down to one life for Masters Santiago where they will face off against Team Liquid after their win over Heretics yesterday.
