NRG delivered a composed and authoritative performance in the Champions Paris Upper Final, sweeping Fnatic 2–0 to secure their place in the grand final. With both teams entering the match in strong form, the series was expected to be close, but NRG’s control in crucial moments proved decisive as they dictated the pace from start to finish.

The opening map on Ascent set the tone for the series, unfolding as a tightly contested affair with momentum swinging back and forth throughout regulation. Fnatic challenged NRG with aggressive mid-round adjustments and individual heroics, but NRG consistently found answers through disciplined utility usage and well-timed rotations. As the rounds grew more tense, NRG’s composure shone through, allowing them to edge out a narrow 14–12 victory and claim an important early advantage.

Abyss, however, told a very different story. NRG came out firing on the second map, asserting dominance with confident site takes and suffocating defensive setups that left Fnatic struggling to gain footing. Their superior map control and coordination steadily widened the gap, and by the second half, NRG were firmly in control. Fnatic were unable to mount a meaningful comeback as NRG closed the map convincingly at 13–5.
